The Sharps Heatseeker is an innovative, affordable chassis system for your bolt action rifle, allowing you to easily upgrade a traditional factory rifle stock for improved versatility and a sleek, modern appearance. This sub 2 lb chassis is machined from billet high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum and includes a 10 ounce, 14″ handguard cut from a unique extrusion shape exclusive to Sharps Bros. Both the chassis body and the handguard are finished in a matte black Cerakote. The handguard features M-LOK slots on 4 sides for various attachment options and two quick disconnect fittings per side for sling attachment. Add your pistol grip and stock of choice with the Heatseekers standard AR-15 grip and AR buffer interface. This offering is for the Remington 700 Short Action. With Heatseeker you can easily and affordably convert your bolt action rifle into an enhanced magazine fed system. Heatseekers sleek contemporary design will completely transform the look of your rifle, with no need to visit a gunsmith: simplified instructions and functionality make installation a breeze. Heatseeker is compatible with AICS short action magazines from Magpul and Accuracy International.

Why are your descriptions so long?
We believe it’s important to know what you are getting into when you are purchasing sight-unseen. We sell only new products from reputable sources (Distributors and Manufacturers) and heavily vet the products we offer, but we also want to ensure you know what you are getting.
Why don’t you sell guns?
Sometimes it’s not very profitable to sell firearms. Furthermore, in the current climate, it’s hard to tell what might change drastically and even overnight with the federal and state laws we must comply with. We are also based out of California, which is notoriously difficult to do business in the firearms industry – including in magazines and ammunition without heavy regulation. We have merchant accounts that prohibit firearms sales at this time, and we think it makes the most sense to focus on building our brand credibility and reputation as a content leader and accessories specialist currently.
We are developing new ways to transact business in the gun industry every day, and we look forward to providing a more robust catalog going forward. Focusing less on compliance and more on selling what we can easily sell allows us time to champion the 2nd Amendment and grow our operation from a web presence perspective.
